01What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files a site can store on your device. Local storage is a similar technology built into your browser. Together we call them cookies on this page. They help a site remember your preferences and keep things working smoothly.
02How Status Maxx uses them
We keep our use light. Today, Status Maxx uses local storage mainly to remember your choices and the state of the Service on your device, not to build advertising profiles.
03Types we use
Strictly necessary
These keep the Service working, for example remembering that you have submitted the waitlist form so we can show you the right message. The Service cannot function properly without them.
Preferences
These remember your settings, such as whether you chose the crimson or navy colour theme, so the site looks the way you left it.
Analytics
If and when we add analytics to understand how the Service is used, we will describe it here and, where required, ask for your consent first.
04Managing cookies
You are in control. You can clear or block cookies and local storage through your browser settings, and you can use private browsing. Blocking some of them may mean parts of the Service, such as remembering your theme, no longer work as expected.
05Third-party cookies
Some tools we rely on to run the Service, such as hosting and form providers, may set their own cookies when they are needed to deliver a feature. Third parties referenced in Status Maxx, such as banks and loyalty programs, manage their own cookies under their own policies.
06Changes to this policy
As we add features, our use of cookies may change. We will update this page and the date at the top when it does.
