For investors

The decision layer
for consumer spending.

Status Maxx turns the cards, subscriptions, and loyalty memberships people already hold into one daily decision — and turns every confirmed choice into purchase-intent data that banks and merchants have no reliable way to get anywhere else.

The problem

Value people already earned,
quietly expiring.

The average household carries several cards and belongs to dozens of loyalty programs, each with its own promotion calendar, qualifying conditions, and redemption window — communicated through uncoordinated apps, emails, and fine print nobody reads. This isn't apathy. It's a timing and information problem, and no product currently solves it at the moment that matters: the moment of payment.

Fragmented

Several cards, dozens of memberships, each on its own calendar. No single place holds the full picture.

Invisible

None of it surfaces when someone is actually paying. The right move is buried in apps, emails, and terms nobody reads.

Perishable

Points and perks expire on a schedule nobody tracks. Miss the window and the value already earned is gone.

The solution

One daily
decision layer.

Add what you carry once. A nightly matching engine does the rest and hands you a single, timely action each day.

Add cards & memberships

Credit cards, subscriptions, and loyalty tiers — entered once.

We match today's promotions

A nightly engine pairs live deals to exactly what a user carries.

Act before it expires

One clear recommendation, delivered while the window is still open.

Why it compounds

A three-sided network,
not just an app.

Every confirmed action captures verified purchase intent tied to a specific card or account, at the exact moment of decision.

Consumers

Use the right card or perk every day, and stop letting value expire.

Status Maxx

The matching engine captures verified purchase intent at the moment of decision.

Banks & merchants

Buy anonymized intent and targeting — a signal they currently have no reliable way to obtain.

That turns a convenience product into a three-sided network: consumers get a better daily decision, and the resulting behavioral data becomes valuable to the institutions trying to reach them. Every redemption makes the matching engine smarter and the data more valuable — the flywheel is the moat.

Market opportunity

A layered market,
not a single one.

Status Maxx doesn't target one market — it's built to climb through three, each larger and more defensible than the last.

Beachhead

Loyalty & rewards tooling

The immediate market: helping people use what they already have. This is where adoption starts and where the daily habit gets built.

Expansion

Recovering breakage

The layer beneath it: value that goes unused today because no one tells people what to do with it in time. Recovering even a share of that is a materially larger prize than the tooling market alone.

Platform

Commerce media

The end state: monetizing verified purchase intent the way search and retail media already monetize browsing and shopping behavior — applied to the moment someone decides what to pay with.

The sequencing is deliberate: Japan first, where loyalty membership density is high and the founding team has deep local reach, then Indonesia and the rest of Southeast Asia — one of the fastest-growing loyalty and digital-payments regions globally.

Why now

The timing lines up
on three fronts.

Intent monetization is mainstream

Retail and commerce media are among the fastest-growing advertising categories — exactly the rails Status Maxx is built to plug into.

AI makes the data layer cheap

Modern language models extract structured promotions and match them semantically at a fraction of what this would have cost even two years ago.

Asia-Pacific leads loyalty

The region is the largest and fastest-growing for loyalty membership — directly aligned with a Japan-then-Southeast-Asia path.

Business model

Three engines, increasing
in margin and defensibility.

B2C

Affiliate and referral commissions on card and product signups, plus an optional premium tier. This engine's job is to acquire users and build the underlying data asset — not to be the primary profit center.

Acquisition engine

B2B data

Anonymized, aggregated behavioral intelligence — what people actually choose to use, and when — sold to banks, merchants, and telcos who currently have no reliable way to see it.

Margin engine

B2B SaaS

White-labeling the matching engine for institutions that want the capability in-house. Deep integration creates real switching costs once a partner's targeting depends on it.

Traction

Validation in progress: waitlist open, with founders and a close circle of early users dogfooding the matching engine to prove a meaningful lift in redemption behavior before wider external acquisition.

Comparable landscape

This category has already
produced real outcomes.

Status Maxx isn't the first product to see this opportunity, and that's a good sign. Adjacent products in card recommendation, deal-finding, and financial guidance have already validated strong consumer demand — in several cases through acquisitions by major platforms.

Kudos

AI-powered smart wallet that recommends which card to use at the point of purchase — the closest direct analog to Status Maxx.

Honey

Browser-based deal-finding and rewards platform, acquired by PayPal — proof that automated savings tools can become core infrastructure for a major payments company.

Credit Karma

Consumer financial recommendation platform acquired by Intuit — one of the category's largest exits, and a strong benchmark for what an engaged financial-guidance audience is worth.

Bilt Rewards

Rewards network built around everyday spending categories — evidence this category can scale into a very large, richly valued private company.

NerdWallet

Public financial recommendation and affiliate business — shows the category supports a durable, publicly-traded company.

Defensibility

What protects it, and the risks
we're not going to pretend aren't there.

What protects it

  • Behavioral, purchase-intent data that compounds with every match and can't be bought off the shelf.
  • Becoming the default habitual answer to "what do I use" at the moment of decision.
  • Deep B2B integration switching costs once a partner's targeting depends on the engine.
  • Privacy-by-design — no bank linking, no card numbers stored, no transaction reading — so regulated buyers can sign without a lengthy security review.

Honest risks

  • Disintermediation risk from banks, card networks, or Apple / Google Wallet building something similar.
  • Geographic mix: Japan and Southeast Asia monetize differently than U.S.-centric comparables.
  • Execution and retention — active, engaged usage is what matters, not registrations.
  • Data-privacy regulation across multiple jurisdictions, including Japan's APPI, Indonesia's PDP, Thailand's PDPA, and the EU's GDPR.
How we're funding this

Dilution follows traction,
not the other way around.

Status Maxx is climbing Kyushu University's QREC non-dilutive grant ladder to fund early development before approaching top-tier accelerators and investors. Arriving at a fundraising conversation with a live product, real usage data, and a largely founder-owned cap table is a stronger position than raising dilutive capital on an idea alone.

Won Non-dilutive

QREC Idea Challenge

Kyushu University's first grant rung — funding the initial build and validation.

Next Non-dilutive

Challenge & Creation

The follow-on rung on QREC's development ladder.

Upcoming Non-dilutive

Kyusoukai Fund

Kyushu University's later-stage venture fund rung, reached with demonstrated traction.

Accelerator

Illustrative sequencing — timing and outcomes at each stage depend on selection processes outside our control.
